The Winter Walk. A fairy house, lemons and bare branches.

Hazel and Isla made a fairy house at lunchtime. It isn't finished yet.

We went for a Winter Walk. It was cold. It was rainy. The branches were bare and the lemons were ripe.

We wrote stories. They are on our classroom wall and in our publishing books.
Come and see them.

Maths in Room 23

Counting and number is an important part of our maths programme. Children do number work around the date each day. We call this Calendar Maths. They also count, sequence number, match one to one, discuss before and after and play a variety of games which help them think intuitively about number.
